How should I use Peptide Relay?

Know what each part of Relay is for—and where its conclusions deliberately stop.

The simple answer

Use Relay to understand the record, compare clearly labeled information, and organize your own research. Each area has a different job: the Compound Library describes the record, Learn explains how to interpret it, and Community Intelligence keeps self-reported experience separate from published evidence.

Relay can clarify a question and show what is known, limited, or unknown. It does not choose a compound, dose, protocol, route, or medical decision for you.

Begin with the question you are trying to answer

If you want to understand one compound, begin in the Compound Library. If you are comparing two records, use Compare. If you are trying to see overlap or gaps across several compounds, use Stack Explorer.

If a term, study type, laboratory result, or interpretation feels unclear, Learn is the right place. The goal is not to force everyone through a course; the right guide should appear when the question becomes relevant.

Keep the information layers separate

Published evidence, Relay’s explanation, and Community Intelligence are displayed as distinct layers. They may inform the same question, but they do not become the same kind of evidence when shown together.

A community pattern can suggest a question worth studying. It cannot establish cause and effect. A plausible mechanism can explain why an effect might occur. It cannot establish a human outcome without direct testing.

Use the labels before using the conclusion

Look for the evidence type, population, measured outcome, source, limitations, unknowns, and review date. These details explain how far a conclusion can reasonably travel.

If Relay says evidence has not established something, that is not the same as saying the effect is impossible. It means the available record cannot support the stronger conclusion.

Keep personal organization private and separate

My Relay and Protocol tools help users organize their own records, calculations, saved comparisons, and research context. Organization and arithmetic do not become recommendations simply because the tools make them easier to manage.

Community contributions require a separate, explicit choice. Private workspace information is not silently turned into public evidence.

Why Compare does not choose a winner

Two compounds may differ in target, population, outcome, study quality, approval status, and uncertainty. A single better label would erase the reason the difference exists.

Compare organizes dimensions side by side so users can understand the record without turning indirect evidence into a head-to-head conclusion.

Why Relay is correctable

Every guide and compound record should show sources and a review date. Material corrections should be recorded rather than silently hidden.

A trustworthy research library is not one that claims it never changes. It is one that makes its reasoning visible and updates when better evidence warrants it.
